The Problem

This project is not a luxury, but a necessary blueprint for guiding individuals back to health, connection, and reciprocity. Our civilization and the more-than-human community hang in the balance.

True North was born in response to an unfolding meta-crisis that ****ravages our precious planet.

Meta-Crisis

The interconnected crises of health, meaning, and ecology —emerging from a materialistic paradigm of separation that treats the body as machine, the soul as superstitious story, and nature as merely resource to exploit.

Health Crisis

We are sick, infertile, and obese.

Industrialized food, environmental toxicity, and corporate medicine have created a silent epidemic of desperation.

In the U.S. today, **6 in 10** adults live with at least one chronic condition, **1 in 6** are infertile, and 2 in 5 are obese.

70% of deaths are caused by chronic illnesses, but instead of preventing them, 90% of healthcare spending goes toward managing their symptoms.

Meaning Crisis

We are lonely, depressed, and nihilistic.

Ecological Crisis

We are ushering in the apocalypse.

We are now living through the Earth’s sixth mass extinction, with wildlife populations declining by 69% since 1970 and 1 million species are at risk.

Climate instability is escalating—2023 was the hottest year on record, and we're now exceeding multiple planetary boundaries.

Despite overwhelming scientific consensus about our planetary crisis, humanity continues racing toward catastrophe.

We are living through a pivotal moment in history—a time that Earth-elder JoAnna Macy has called the Great Turning—a transition from an ego-centric life-destroying society, to a soul-centric civilization rooted in regeneration, reverence, and interbeing.
